Gratitude

had the privilege of spending Mother's Day weekend in Hot Springs, Montana, one of my favorite places of late. I swear the sky was bluer, the grass greener, and the dandelions yellower than usual. The place contained a gentle intensity that is diffult to describe. The breeze carried the scent of lilacs and sound of dove cries.

There was an amazing willow behind our campsite with a space in its center just perfect for sitting. I sat there this morning and spent some time in gratitude for my surroundings, my partner's 52nd trip around the sun, and the precious people I have been nurtured by and been allowed to nurture.

I hope that wherever you are today, you can be drawn to something that brings you joy.
